IKO Torch-On Venting Layer is composed of a perforated glass reinforcement which is saturated and then coated in polymer modified bitumen. A fine sand finish is applied to the top surface and a thermofusible film to the back surface. The thermofusible film over the perforations melts during application of the under layer and allows bitumen to flow through the perforations and spot bond to the deck.

IKO Torch-On Venting Layer is specifically designed for use with torch applied roofing membranes and when used as the first layer of a torch applied built-up felt roofing system, will provide a positive partial bond to prepared non-combustible substrates. Manufactured with an oxidised bitumen coating, IKO Torch-ON Venting Layer can be used in conjunction with both SBS and APP modified torch-on roofing.
