Technical Specification Support Role

The Company

IKO LTD have been supplying roofing and building material to the construction industry since 1953. Our customer base is nationwide and we have offices in Dublin – Ballycoolin & Broomhill, Cork and Belfast.

The company has been steadily growing for many years and the right candidate will be joining a very successful organisation.

Responsibilities

The role centres providing technical support to our technical sales team.

  • Thermal Insulation calculations
  • Design taper roofing schemes
  • Rainwater calculations
  • Windload calculations
  • Section details drawings
  • Support sales technical team, prepare & manage company documentation.
  • Project specifications, incorporating IKO product buildups, performance requirements, installation clauses etc.

Qualifications

  • AutoCad 2D minimum with a minimum of 3 year’s experience
  • Construction industry experience is a plus
  • Proficient in the use of all Microsoft office packages
