The IKO Easyseal AVCL is positioned beneath insulation within a warm roof build up to prevent the passage of inbound airborne moisture thus protecting it from condensation. A versatile, high performance layer comprising a polyester reinforced aluminium core, coated with an SBS modified, self-adhesive bitumen.

The upper surface has a fine granule finish. The underside adhesive coating is protected by a release film to facilitate the bond to the primed substrate. The adhesive coating to the underside is activated when it comes into contact with IKOpro Easyseal Bonding Agent to give a guaranteed bond.

The BBA approved (certificate no.02/3916) IKO easyseal self-adhesive roofing system has been designed to remove the requirement for hot bitumen and or naked flames for anyone installing roofing membranes.
